Raymond Everett Donaldson “Buddy” passed away surrounded by his wife and three daughters on December 5, 2022 at the age of 68. Buddy fought long and hard after being diagnosed with liver cancer in 2020. He was a lover of the outdoors, and a creative craftsman and innovator, but above all he adored his wife, children and grandchildren. Buddy touched the lives of all of those who met him with a generosity and charisma that was contagious.

A funeral mass celebrating his life will be held the following day on Tue. A burial will follow at National Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Carol Ann Dowler, 62, of Valdosta passed away Monday, March 30, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her family. A private graveside funeral service will be held for Dr. Dowler on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at Tift Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Dr. Jarred D. Hammet will officiate with a eulogy to be given by Allen Boyd.
